Abstract Materials in this collection include essays, 35mm slides, photographs, negatives and notes created by Carole F. Edland in preparation for two photographic documentaries of the A. Barney Spangler and William M. Crowley homes in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Spangler and Crowley built contractor-designed homes for the middle class from 1920-1958.
