The records are approved resolutions and reports of the City of La Crosse (Wisconsin) Common Council, Dec. 1932-November 1986 and are arranged by file number. More current files can be found at the City Clerk’s Office at City Hall.

Oversized items attached to a resolution were removed from the collection to facilitate microfilming of the record series for resolutions before 1970 (files #1-37116) EXCEPT for files #31734-33067 which were microfilmed along with the legal sized files. "See references" have been placed in the file where this has occurred.

However, a group was missed in the filming so there is no indication on the microfilm that an oversize file exists for the following resolution file numbers: 28517, 28691, 29003, 30774, 30945, 31838, 31842, 31945, 32588, 32590, 32591, 32592. The oversize items are available for use only in paper form.

Microfilm exists of resolutions 1-40920 1932-1981 December. Starting with resolution 40921, the resolutions ceased to be microfilmed and were entered into the LaserFiche system at City Hall.
