Scope and Contents
Rough indexes by last name appear in the begining of each of the bound volumes except for volumes 9 and 12. All estate documents are grouped together but cases can continue into the next volume. Index entries can list much later volumes that are not included on the film.
Volume 2 (1872-1876) was not present during filming and is lacking.

The Register in Probate was responsible for filing and administering wills in La Crosse County. La Crosse County was formed in 1851 from Crawford County.
