Records of a study group of the La Crosse, Wis., chapter of the American Association of University Women, devoted to the study of literature and books. The group call themselves "Bookfellows," and were founded in 1935. Materials include by-laws (1945-1996), bibliographies, minute books (1935-1995), programs, and an historical scrapbook, covering 1935-1998.

"The La Crosse YWCA: The Way it Was" is a recollection written in March, 2001, by Marian E. Johnson. Johnson was a resident at the YWCA (known informally then as "Pasadena") in the 1940s; this building was located at the corner of West Avenue and Main Street in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
Twentieth Century Club Records
The Twentieth Century Club was founded in 1901 as a separate offshoot from the Women's Fortnightly Club of La Crosse. The collection consists mainly of yearbooks from 1926-1977, and a history written in 1982, the last known year of the club's existance.
