Abstract
             "The Scroll," or its full title, "Scrolled Tablets of Pictographs Celebrate the Creation of Letters Making Words into Written Languages for Human Expressions," was designed by Dale Kendrick and constructed between 1990 and 1998 with the support of the City of La Crosse Downtown Sculpture Committee and the Lunde Foundry (Holmen, Wis.).
