The Joseph B. Hunn papers contain a copy of "The University of Missouri, U. S. Bureau of Fisheries, and the Upper Mississippi River 1897-1947," written by Hunn. This report covers an ecological history of the Upper Mississippi River as well as both the University of Missouri and the U. S. Bureau of Fisheries' involvement in this area during the time period of 1897-1947, particularly as it related to fresh water mussels.
