The Robert M. and Gladys (Reck) Schultz Family Photographs collection includes photographs of Robert and Gladys Schultz, as well as their nine children, ranging from the dates of 1920-1960. Photographic content includes scenes around La Crosse, Wis., portraits, and images of family and home life. Robert and Gladys Schultz also owned and operated Schultz Destruction Company at 913 South 2nd Street in La Crosse, Wis., until 1977.

Photographs of the first shopping center in La Crosse developed by Clarence B. Smith include five views, one exterior and four interior. These images, taken by the Trane Company, date from about April 1947 when the complex had its grand opening.

Thomas Doering Family Photographs
The Thomas Doering family had ties to Vernon County as well as La Crosse County, Wisconsin. Thomas (1925-2014) was the son of Kurt and Carol (Mork) Doering. Kurt was the son of Richard O. and Meta Doering. Thomas married Ardelle Rudser in 1950 after serving his country during World War II. Together they raised four children.
This collection consists of photographs of Tom, Kurt, Carol, Meta, Richard, Nancy and Kathy as well as the Viroqua Band.
