Abstract
Copy of "A Pioneer Story" by Frances Sjuggerud, a sixteen year old high school student from Holmen, Wisconsin, and written between 1936-1939. Sjuggerud's writing is a brief biography of her neighbor Agnethe (Fixen) Thompson, born October 29, 1863, in Gudbrandsdalen, Norway. This typed transcript forms part of the U. S. Works Progress Administration, Federal Writers' Project. The original transcript is housed as part of the Library of Congress' Folklore Project, Life Histories, 1936-1939.
