Abstract Dale and Betty Kendrick owned and operated the Behind The Brewery Gallery at 1026 South Front St. in La Crosse, Wisconsin, from 1971 through 2009. Abstract "The World's Largest Stein" was designed by artist Susan Sampson in 1993, and was proposed to be built as a tourist attraction in La Crosse, Wisconsin, at an estimated cost of $1,000,000. The structure was meant to stand 75 feet tall with shops, galleries, and a pub.
