Proposed plans drawn by Shubert, Sorensen & Associates Architects of La Crosse, Wisconsin for a structure to be built around the Colwell-Dorset home located at 330 6th Street South. The proposed structure would become Christ Church Memorial Home for the Aged. This structure was never built, and the home was razed in 1966. Plans are dated November 3, 1959.

Callahan house, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Dr. Callahan commissioned the La Crosse architectural firm of Gustav Stoltze and Hugo Schick to build this Queen Anne-style house in 1894.

Stoddard Hotel operated as the most upscale hotel in La Crosse for nearly 80 years, but also served as a center for entertainment, weddings, conferences, meetings and the like.
Records include guest registers (with the guest’s signature) from 1904-1927; 1929-1930; financial volumes, 1903-1939, and a scrapbook, 1932-1934 highlighting events which took place at the Stoddard Hotel.
